Little Hatchet came to Save-A-Pet as a two-day old kitten with her mom and siblings. Her back leg is deformed and while it does not slow her down, the vet did recommend that her leg be removed. Throughout the years, we have rescued many cats like her and being three-legged in no way slows a cat down...sometimes they can actually be the most active ones as some of our adopters have found out. She is currently in a foster home and her foster mom thinks that she is so sweet, that it is never too early to start looking for her adoptive family. This way, she won't even have to come back to our adoption center after her surgery. Financial donations towards her surgery are of course also appreciated! |
